The next round of smartphone wars has started: iPhone 4S and Galaxy Nexus fight for the throne

Apple presented the iPhone 4S a few weeks ago, and Google followed by announcing the Galaxy Nexus device made by Samsung. There were many rumours about an iPhone 5 and therefore some people were initially disappointed by the lack of a completely new iPhone. Nonetheless the iPhone 4S is a very solid device with greatly enhanced specs like a faster (dual core) CPU, more RAM, new camera and better antenna.... 

Android marketshare in US reaches 39%

The latest data from Nielsen indicates that Android currently takes the crown regarding mobile OS market share with 39%. Apple and RIM follow with 28% and 20% respectively. Windows Phone 7 has about 9%, while webOS and Symbian basically have no marketshare with only 2% each. I think that RIM will continue to lose ground and Windows Phone 7 should be able to surpass Blackberry devices in the coming... 

Iphone 3G S impressions

So Apple finally released their IPhone 3G S to the public. And it wasn’t the big bang as a lot of Apple fans hoped for. The new IPhone is not a revolution, but merely an evolution of the old versions. Some issues like the missing copy&paste function and mms support were fixed. And the hardware has been updated quite a bit. IPhone 3G S Seems like the RAM size has been upped to 256 MB and... 

Pros&cons of the Iphone

We have to give apple credit for actually introducing a touch screen device to the mass market. In the pre-iphone era you could primarily find either geeks or business users working with touchscreen/stylus devices. There wasn’t any average mobile phone user interested in that kind of devices.
