Review: Kindle Fire Hardware Impressions

Amazon made a big impact by announcing the Kindle Fire 7 inch Android tablet for a extremely competitive 200$ pricetag. Prior to the Kindle Fire you could only find very low quality hardware from no-name Chinese companies. Samsung, HTC, Motorola, Asus, Acer and nearly all other important manufacturers released tablets which were as expensive as an Apple iPad or only slightly cheaper. After the HP webOS...

Rumours about the Nexus Prime aka Galaxy Nexus have been floating around for months as Google is preparing their next major Android update called ‘Ice Cream Sandwich’. On the HTC Desire you’ll get HTC Sense, which builds on the regular Android 2.1 version,...

Android is really picking up speed in the last quarter of 2009. We have seen some new Android devices during the whole year, but the Motorola Droid aka Milestone marked the arrival of a new Motorola flagship as well as the first Android 2.0 smartphone on the market. A longterm Windows Mobile user switching to Android – Part 3: HTC Hero size comparison picture gallery

As announced i uploaded some HTC Hero comparison screenshots with a Tmobile G1 and an HTC Touch Diamond. It’s no surprise that the HTC Hero is slimmer than the G1, since it sports no hardware keyboard. One thing i noticed it that the display of the HTC Hero is embedded deeper within the device frame, which i don’t like that much compared to the IPhone 3GS or the G1 it seems kind of strange....
