About installing apps: Well at least on WinMo you can decide which apps you want to install (there is no accreditation process for wm apps), and which way you want to install them (cab file, desktop installation). ;)

I like that open approach much more, than the apple way of forcing itunes and their app store in example.

Seems like palm is heading the same restrictive way as apple with the palm pre sadly.
